Haugland is an on-air meteorologist at KCSU-TV Channel 22 in Edmond, Oklahoma. He also runs the Crosstimber Micronet, a unique microclimate observation network for microscale meteorological research.
Haugland created WeatherPages.com in January of 1997. It began as a local site (for San Jose, CA) with only links. Since then it has grown to cover almost 200 cities with 7-Day forecastsand unique 2-Day "Timeline" forecasts. The site currently receives 150,000 to 1/4 Million visits per month and growing. Haugland also produces reports such as the Weather Variety Reportand many more.
